Losing access to potable water is nothing new to Mount Vernon residents. The boil advisory following the latest line break elicited the usual response: People bought all the bottled water in town as soon as they heard the news and then went in search of more.
With the boil advisory set to continue at least until Wednesday morning, when the second required water test comes back from Evansville Water Works, the quest for safe water continues.See the full content of this document
