Summary
Lately I've been using a technique that helps with portion control at mealtimes. Before I eat a meal, I drink about 16 ounces of water and eat a piece of fruit. By doing that, I kill three birds with one stone --I get some of the water I need, the fruit I need, and I'm not as hungry when I sit down to eat, so I eat smaller portions.
