On July 19 the three teens appeared before Palm Beach County Circuit Judge Paul Moyle, who noted that each of the offenses consti-tuted a "life felony," meaning that they could result in imprisonment for life. According to Mike Edmondson, spokesperson for the State Attorney's Office, the police are still investigating the case with other suspects still at large. All three defendants are being represented by private attorneys.

"Dunbar Village is in the news, and people want to help, so maybe we can do it quicker," Mayor Lois Frankel said. "If we can figure out where to move 300 people, then we can do something quicker than a row at a time."

"Many here are leading good lives," [Laurel Robinson] said. "I think the feeding frenzy of demonizing the publichousing community is wrong. It's very disrespectful to people who do lead these lives. Not everyone here is broken and needs to be fixed."
