The present study explores the nature of Toyota's relational bonding with its network partners. We use "traffic Island" metaphor to show the interaction patterns among the network partners. The model shows how Toyota occupies the central position in the network and contributes to the cultural integration. We capture evidence from the case studies about Toyota's value sharing role and developing common language among partners. The paper also contributes by explaining the efficacy of symbolic communication in culture exchange and value sharing.
