I remember the late '20s, and I was in the third grade at West Heights No. 1 School. We lived on Cave Avenue, and had to walk to school on Harmony Way. There was a brick house 1512, where there was a lady who sold penny candy out of her basement. This was my first encounter with the "Halloway Sucker."
