'Marriage and Us'

Summary


We do not seem to believe in it as we once did. "That is not to say that marriages are not taking place within our community. They are but certainly not at the same rate that we have began to "live together" or have "common law" marriages.

There are times or seasons when everything goes tight and when everything seems to go wrong. If money is an issue, there are seasons of want, which lead to seasons of unhappiness. There are seasons filled with the fire of passion and seasons when those fires seem to have one out.

We need marriage, real marriages now more than ever before. The foundation of our community is family and the foundation of family is marriage. Not trial marriages, not try out marriages, not marriages between people of the same gender but marriages between a man and a woman.
