MIAMI, FL - The Florida Regional Minority Business Council (FRMBC) hosted "An Evening of Honors & Elegance" on Sept. 26, 2008 at the Jungle Island. With over 300 professional people adorned in elegant formal attire, the night indeed transformed into a magical occasion to celebrate and honor minority businesses and the corporations that support those businesses through supplier diversity programs. Seven major awards were presented and Macy's claimed two of the awaras, which included Buyer of the Year and National Corporation of the Year. Macy's was acknowledged for the leadership role it has taken to distinct their brand recognition and to put into action their sincere desire to create business for minority companies.
