Manufacturing excellence is a moving target, with improvements continually being announced.
A major manufacturer of consumer products was about to tool up for quantities of a new product - proved in tests, but not in the marketplace. In the first three years, product technology changed twice: market demand exceeded expectations by fourfold. The product: ABS braking systems.
