With 10 people living there now, [Edgar] thinks this apartment is getting too crowded. 'It would be better if there were seven,' he says. 'But we all get along, so it's OK. If someone isn't working and can't pay the rent [$91.75 each], we see who can lend him some money...' Edgar has had good work experiences. 'Some people pay you well, $8 or $10 an hour,' Edgar says. 'They even buy you lunch. Some bosses take advantage of us, but most of the people I have worked for here have been very fair with me.'
