Summary
In serving on boards and committees in our community, I've learned the new lingo of "outcomes." An "outcome" is a tangible, measurable result of a changed circumstance. How many programs you held or how many people you served doesn't count. In what specific ways have people's lives been changed?
I shudder to think what would happen if those standards were applied to the ministries of the church, since what we're trying to do can't be measured with some church equivalent of the ISTEP test.See the full content of this document
