Projects under construction on the Starkville campus include: renovations to Harned Hall and Lloyd Ricks Hall; a water loop expansion to be completed in December; a $16-million new residence hall set for completion next July; and, a $7-million office building in the research park. Muzzi, who serves as university architect and associate director of MSU's Facilities Management, Planning, Design and Construction Department, says the effect of decreased state funding on construction will be felt in the next several years as requests for projects are not funded by the state.
