Summary
Surviving are three sons, Lonnie Beatty III, Marvin Watson Beatty (Maxine), Robert Gerald Beatty (Priscilla); six grandchildren, Dawn, Eric (Cenona), Marvin Jr. (Romeka), Robert, Victoria and Matthew, and five great grandchildren Nigel, Shaimek, Kyree, Joaquin, Javier and a host of relatives and friends.
Lonnie and [Juanita] embodied the dreams and aspirations of aie great migration of Black Americans to the oath in search of freedom and opportunity. Their lifelong project WEIS to improve the economic footing of the family and to ensure the best educational opportunities for their children. They settled in the innercity of Detroit, Michigan where Lonnie worked at Ex-Cello Corporation as an aerospace tool-and-die machinist Later in his career he spent an extended period of time in the U.S.S.R (Russia) training Russian workers in American aerospace production techniques.See the full content of this document
