Logo Is Next Step in Indiana Groups' Integration

Summary

The integration of the Indiana Bankers Association and the Community Bankers Association of Indiana took another step May 1-3 when the combined IBA unveiled its new logo at the organization's annual Mega Conference in Indianapolis. More than 1,000 people attended the conference, which has evolved into one of the largest state association sponsored events since it was started in 1992. Unveiled with fanfare at a conference luncheon, the logo features four lines, reminiscent of stylized roads or columns, that point to the A in IBA. It was explained that the underlying message is that all roads lead to the Association and create unity. The number of lines is significant, because it represents four core strengths of the IBA as revealed by a membership survey: 1. education, 2. information resources, 3. professional networking, and 4. industry advocacy.
