Summary
No elimination rounds were necessary in this bout for girl nightlife power since there are only two real contenders: the dark and divey dyke party vs. the sassy, classy queer social. The two-year-old girL party, held every third Saturday of the month, moved from various South Philly venues to Mercury Lounge before settling in at Sal's on 12th Street. The hip-hop/dance/'80s tunes give it a familiar Philly local dance bar feel, except the cute little grungy boys swilling bottles of lager are actually girls. Fabric--which admittedly is less a lesbian party than a party for lesbians, their gay boyfriends and their cool straight girlfriends--is more than just a hot gay party.
