While [Martin McNamara]'s first exhibit features two out-of-towners, the gallery will be showing local artists Stuart Rome, Paul Cava, the husband-and-wife team of Michael A. Smith and Paula Chamlee, Don Camp and Doug Wolfe in future exhibits. (A photo by Wolfe was McNamara and [Tom Callan]'s first step on the road to collecting photography-they bought the work from a show at La Colombe.)

"We have concerns," he says. "You really have to be careful about color photography. We're putting in window shades." On the other hand, natural light often gives a work of art enhanced beauty. "I took some of Stuart Rome's work over there. There was a lot of light and the works were electric. They come to life. I hope we can capture some of that."
