Outgoing Warrick County Recorder Elizabeth "Betty" Niemeyer is preparing to leave office but she is not planning to give up public service.
She said she will begin training to become a Court Appointed Special Advocate for children in the Warrick County court system in January. She has previously worked as a coordinator of a respite care program for families with special-needs children and as a caseworker for Marion County Family and Children Services.
