So far this year, more than 2.2 million people with Medicare have saved more than $1.2 billion on prescriptions, according to the Department of Health and Human Services.
That averages out to $550 for every person, and more than 22.6 million seniors and people with disabilities across the country have taken advantage of at least one free Medicare benefit, said the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.See the full content of this document
