Elan Corp. Subpoenaed by SEC-Elan Corp. Plc recently announced it has received a subpoena from the Securities and Exchange Commission seeking information about disclosures made last year in regard to the company's multiple-sclerosis drug Tysabri and an Alzheimer's disease drug, both of which improved Elan shares. Elan's partner in creation of the experimental Alzheimer's drug, said they are cooperating with the SEC and working to provide the Commission with more information.
