Owner Scott Scheldt also procures organic produce from nearby farms and Marin farmers markets.. .Another supportive act in Marin is the year-long giveback program of Rickey's Restaurant & Bar (at Inn Marin, Novato). There will be a free appetizer reception, open to the public, from 5 to 6pm. For reserva- tions, call 415/883-9477...The 2009 Dine About Town experience is coming up in San Francisco, June 1 to 15. For a list of participating restaurants - and there are more than you might expect, this year - go to www.onlyinsanfrancisco.com/ taste.. .Marin food sources are included in the territory covered by restaurateur /food writer Patricia Unterman in her popular and handily portable San Francisco Food Lover's Pocket Guide.
