Last year, Carey and his partner, executive vice president and creative director Bruce Miller, finished buying the last of the Just Kid shares back from North Castle Partners who helped Carey fund the project at its start and housed the facility in its Bank Street offices in Stamford. Miller who created the ad slogan for Butterfinger candy bars, "Nobody better lay a finger on my Butterfinger," became a partner in 2000 after serving as creative director since the company's inception.
