[Ted Louis Levy]'s production of "Ted Levy and Friends," directed by [Gregory Hines], celebrated Levy as one of America's premier tap dance artists. Levy appeared in the movie "Bojangles" with Hines and returned to Broadway as Papa Jack in "Thou Shalt Not," co-starring Harry Connick Jr.

"For me, to be even mentioned in the same breath as his name is kind of humbling and a little frightening," Levy said. "When you say "[Sammy Davis Jr.],' people expect you to do and be Sammy Davis, but it'll never happen. The best [Byron Stripling] and I could do is an offer an experience that absolutely shares what he was."

Sammy Davis Jr. fans can expect to hear classics such as "Mr. Bojangles," "Candy Man" and "Too Close for Comfort."
