Transamerica Premier Services, a firm that works with banks and lenders to track insurance policy applications of purchasers of such items as homes and cars, links some 555 terminals in seven US locations to a mainframe computer in South Pasadena, CA. The mainframe in turn is linked to 125 terminals at a processing center in Atlanta, GA by means of a T-1 primary link and a secondary link.
