The New Harmony, Ind., Working Men's Institute will host its gala fund-raiser Saturday from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. at the Rapp-Owen Granary.
The Working Men's Institute, a library, archives and museum with emphasis on the history of New Harmony, is raising money to renovate the building to make it handicap accessible. The current building, which was completed in 1894, has a basement and second floor, limiting access to some material.
