"Part of the day's activities is a three-on-three basketball tournament," she said. "There's no entry fee. The entry fee is to agree to be tested for HIV People need to know their status."

Part of the goal of the three-on-three tournament tied to the HIV tests was to get young people to accept the idea of a test, just to be sure. "There's no shame in your game," was one of the slogans for the day, and at one point in the early afternoon, "the line waiting for tests stretched clear down the hall," [Sarah Reynolds] said.
