The small welder business has been growing and is predicted to continue doing so because technological improvements have enhanced applications while making it easier for unskilled operators to use small welding tools. State-of-the-art gas metal arc welding and gas tungsten arc welding equipment are easy to use and are suitable for welding even aluminum. They may also be used to make fixtures, repair dies and satisfy production and maintenance requirements. Gas tungsten arc welding is especially suited for welding exotic metals and for applications where aesthetics is important.
