Summary
The company has gone through many stages throughout its history. Back in 1980 [George] was the driver, and he and [Jackie Bryce] traveled to races throughout the U.S. He has since retired from the track and has trained many superstars in the NHRA drag racing world to a total of six world championships. The list of winners includes John Meyers and Angel Ie Sampey on Suzukis, and Chip Ellis, Mart Smith and Chris Rivas on V-twins, to name a few. The Star team has been sponsored by companies such as Winston, Drag Specialties and S&S Cycle. Most of the Buells on the current NHRA circuit were built by the guys here at Star Racing.
