I am so glad that you are recognizing the co-survivors of breast cancer. Several years ago, I wrote the attached letter to the editor. I did this because I wanted the "other" survivor recognized. My husband was a tremendous support to me during and after my treatment.

My husband has always been a compassionate person. I recognized this on our first date at age 16. A mosquito landed on my hand, and he very kindly slapped it away. Unfortunately, I was holding a full glass of Coke.
