An 11-year-old boy who was accidentally shot by a friend has settled his personal injury claim for $500,000.

Jeremiah Barnes suffered a gun shot wound to his left arm and chest while he and Dylan Bruhn were hunting for small animals on July 30, 2005. Bruhn, his parents, Victor Bruhn and Cheryl Dangerfield, and landowner James Scott were named as defendants.
