A typed, unsigned, undated letter from Ernest Hemingway to Harold Loeb was written between the publication of his collection of stories and first book, In Our Time and The Torrents of Spring. In Pamplona, he had nearly a fist fight with Harold Loeb about Lady Duff Twysden. On Jul 12, the day after their drunken quarrel in Spain, Hemingway made a rare abject apology.
