Health Care: What's Really at Stake?

Summary


You see, we want to say what we don't want or won't stand for when people are suffering and, dying. How would you feel if it were you? There are so many layers and depth to a human soul. Perhaps you have enough money to cover your children's healthcare bills, however, many people don't. So many people, however, do not. So is it just their problem because you have yours? For those of you who feel that way, statistically speaking, disaster will happen to some of you too.

In today's world nothing is guaranteed. If the pendulum swings too much in the wrong direction, we will do as American citizens what we always do. We change it. The next time, though, we will not wait until the ninth hour. We as individuals will stand and let our voices be heard. Utopian, maybe, but isn't that what our founding fathers wanted, and why did they leave England in the first place? They wanted to be valued as collective individuals E pluribus Unum. Yet, our values and ideals are not at stake. Our humanity is at stake.
