Harold W. Benner

Harold W. Benner passed from his earthly life to his Heavenly Home on December 24, 2010, from Landis Homes where he had resided the past three years. He was born January 2, 1915, living one week short of 96 years. He was born in Bareville, PA, the son of the late Charles and Mabel Winey Benner.

He was a member of Metzler's Mennonite Church, Ephrata, PA. Harold was first employed at the Shoe Factory in Akron. He owned and managed a trucking business from 1941 until 1959. He worked for the Farm Bureau a few years before 1963 when he was Assistant Sales Manager for Moffet Bearing Co. of Lancaster for 20 years. After retirement, he delivered camping trailers for SunLine Travel Trailers part-time.
