"Grand Bahama Island is made up of many canals," [Chad Hepburn] said as he stopped on a bridge and pointed out the vast number of water arteries traveled by residents and people conducting business. "They are an important part of our economy."

"We bottle approximately 5,000 to 10,000 fragrances per week," said Stephanie Bowe, sales supervisor for The Perfume Factory, who has worked at the facility for 18 years. "We also customize perfumes for special events such as weddings, bridal showers, Christinas gifts, birthdays and group tours."

"As long as we keep growing our number of destinations, especially in the Bahamas," said Juan Arbelaez, Spirit Airline's director of Communications and Community Affairs for Latin America, "we will increase our market share in that region."
