Summary


So we're sitting in Barristers Bar & Grille, and for some unfathomable reason my motley gang of associates is treating me to an a cappella version of the Isley Brothers and R. Kelly's "Contagious." Why, I have no idea, but by Christ, it's got to be seen and heard to be believed. As they fix me with gazes of utter sincerity, our fellow patrons look on in wide-eyed, slack-jawed disbelief.

Suddenly my phone rings. I can't hear a thing and decide to run down the stairs and out into the street to take the call. And it's at this point I feel it's my duty to warn you that Barristers' stairs are deadly. Or maybe it's the several large Jameson's I've just consumed. Whatever. Needless to say, I waltz off, miss the first step, fly down the stairs and land in a crumpled heap at the bottom.
