Government Restructuring Is Top Public Interest in Report

Summary


Most residents who participated in a June public meeting on city and county government unification were interested in restructuring local government, according to a report from the Evansville/ Vanderburgh Unification Study Committee.

The report was part of a presentation given to a state commission Tuesday at a hearing on efforts to improve local government efficiency. The report will also be presented today at a meeting of the local committee.
