Gasoline prices in Evansville jumped Friday, surpassing the $2 a gallon mark at many stations for the first time this year.
The Courier & Press daily gasoline price survey showed an average price of $2.073 for a gallon of regular unleaded on Friday. The survey's low price of $1.999 was found at the Sprint station near the intersection of Allen Lane and Kratzville Road.
