$14.4 Million Funding Asked for Eickhoff-Koressel Plan

Summary


Vanderburgh County commissioners have requested $14.4 million in federal funds to complete the long-planned road between the University of Southern Indiana and Diamond Avenue in western Vanderburgh County.

The money, if approved, would move up completion dates for the five-mile, north-south thoroughfare, which was first proposed in a 1979 transportation plan developed by the Evansville Urban Transportation Study.
