Summary
Right Web, a project we took on late last year, tracks groups and individuals who promote a hawkish U.S. foreign policy in the Middle East Similarly, a few months ago I was asked to travel to Sweden to speak to the European Parliamentary Federation about the history of the rise of the Right in the United States and possible parallels they might expect in the European Union as countries with important sectors of religious conservatives (whether Muslim Turkey or Roman Catholic Poland) join the Union. In each case we are asked not to become experts on the Right in other countries but rather to use our expertise on the U.S. Right to assist the international community in understanding what might be coming their way or to explain how the U.S. Right is entering the international arena.
