Summary
Randy King, who's currently at Red Lion Riverside after a notable stint at Taste in Hyde Park, is in charge of the appetizer. He'll prepare a duo of elk with a five-spice wonton and a loin chop in a pumpkin seed mole. Salad is courtesy of Jane Kent, who is representing O'Michael's Pub and Grill (but she's also responsible for many of Boise Co-op's beloved deli dishes). Kent will throw together a simple spinach salad with strawberries and a sweet onion dressing. From Life's Kitchen, Anna Tapia brings on the third courser with an ambitious creamed heart of palm soup with crab. The main course also comes courtesy of a Life's Kitchen chef. Maggie Kiefer offers a take on a South American dish, matambre.
