Flip This Flop

Summary

A new song he performed called "Don't Blink" is more of the same theme and perhaps the lamest of all. It'll be a huge hit. The [Kenny Chesney] fan club would be better served with more songs like "Anything But Mine," a truly touching ballad that provided an emotional highlight with the crowd beautifully singing the refrain, and Mac McAnally's wonderfully nostalgic "Back Where 1 Come From."

For his part. [Kristian Bush] proved he can sing the lead, ably filling Jon Bon Jovi's part on the duet "Who Says You Can't Go Back," a recent crossover hit. He really should take his mandolin out for a strum more often as his picking lent a perfectly graceful touch on the band's first big song, playing off his partner's wistful turn on the band's contagious first hit, "Baby Girl." All eyes were glued to [Jennifer Nettles] as she was literally at center stage to deliver the heartfelt "Just Might (Make Me Believe)." Then she exploded into the honky-tonk rocker "Down in Mississippi (Up To No Good)," her voice soaring and her hair falling over her face as she rolled along with a rollicking piano lead.
