Flexo schools: narrow web flexo press operators are hard to come by, and the good ones are as rare as hen's teeth. Two private institutions, however, are doing their best to put well prepared flexographers into the marketplace.

A mere five years ago there were no private schools devoted to the training of flexographic press operators. Today there are two. Both are successful, and between them they have placed more than 200 students into the workplace, a healthy contribution to the flexo industry.

DiTrolio Flexographic Institute is located in Broadview, IL, just outside Chicago. The Flexographic Trade School is in Charlotte, NC. Both started small. Both have grown substantially. Both have received a great deal of support from industry suppliers and converters. Here are their stories.
