Included in the exhibition are a host of accomplished Ohio artists: Queen Brooks, Debbie Jackson, Bing Davis, Vivian Pittman, Bruce Robinson, Kevin Willis, Beverly Whiteside, Barbara Thomas, Larry Spencer, Craig Screven, Hasan Abdur-Razzaq, Robert E. Peppers, Kay Onwukwe, H. Ike Okafor-Newsum, Piney Liggins, Brian Jones T. Graves, Ricardo Davenport, Derrick Davis, Clifford Darrett, Brian Coleman, Ronald Claxton, Floristine Yancy-Jones and Talle Bamazi, and Kojo Kamau.

Kamau recently released the acclaimed photo anthology "Columbus Remembered," which contains historic images from 1960 through 2006. Kamau also received the 2006 Ohioana Career Award from the Ohioana Library Association.

"Textural Rhythms" consists of 64 quilts made by America's best-known African-American quilters, including Michael Cummings, Edjohnetta Miller, Tina Brewer and Jim Smoote, among others.
