In a Harris Interactive survey commissioned by Capital H Group, 95% of those surveyed say that senior management views creating a diverse workforce as a major goal. The Diversity and Inclusion in the Workplace survey involved managers and senior managers. Respondents said the benefits of having a diverse team include thinking about issues from different viewpoints (136%), gathering fresh perspectives (21%), generating insight of various customer strategies (19%), and learning about different cultures (12%). Sixty-three percent of respondents said performance reviews are tied to diversity goals.
