Dreaded Diagnosis First Came Shock, but Gratitude Followed

When the biopsy was done, a nurse scheduled her for an appointment the following Monday. Results from the biopsy would be back, and the doctor wanted to review them with her in person.

"I said, `Can't I just call and get the results?'" Kroeger said. "They said, `No. You have to come in.'"
