Summary


The Brooklyn resident has had two best selling novels, "Waiting In Vain" and "Satisfy My Soul." He also founded the Calabash Literary Festival in Jamaica which has become an important annual literary event in the Caribbean.

[Colin Channer] says that he'd always had poor vision but "I'd never contemplated a life of blindness." The doctors analyzed his condition as terataiacones. "I was put on a waiting list for transplants," he said.

Channer's "Passing Through" held up to him. "These are seven stories, connected stories, and in each one a character has to make a monumental decision. And in the background is the volcanic nature of the landscape. Almost every decision could be your final one."
