Since its remarkable recovery from the 1994-1995 peso crisis, Mexico offers global executives some tantalizing business prospects. The economy has rebounded, inflation is down, imports and exports are stronger than ever, and NAFTA has helped to spark interest not only among its neighbors--the United States and Canada--but from countries that previously might have ignored Mexico. Mexico's foreign investment policies are more friendly, and there is a growing sense that this land whose 2,000-mile northern border abuts the United States is a key player on the stage of world commerce.
