[Frank Gatti] fears future expansion of the airport to accomodate jets, or the subdivision of the 730-acre site for large-scale residential construction. He says the community can preserve the open space by acquiring the airport and offering the Solberg family the opportunity to run it. "We are in a bucolic setting right now and we want to try and maintain that," he says. "Our objective is to preserve the airport" and surrounding farmland.
