There are several humidity-measuring instruments that are offered to environmental health professionals. One is the hand-operated sling psychrometer which is designed to give the temperature of evaporation that works more accurately when used with demineralized water. Another device is the digital pen-style pocket hygrometer that features a sensor probe that is capable of accessing a ventilation system to measure humidity.
