Summary
As I sat in the General Assembly hall, I had mixed emotions. After all, this is the same U.N. that has libeled the State of Israel on every possible occasion, not only in the infamous "Zionism is Racism" resolution that poisoned attitudes toward Israel for years or at the conference in Durban in 2001 that exploded into a paroxysm of anti-Zionism and anti-Semitism. Let us remember that even this past summer, the U.N. passed strong resolutions which called for sanctions against Israel for defending itself against terrorism by building a fence.
