The Steelers owner tolerates a convicted murderer playing in the NFL, namely Leonard Little of the St. Louis Rams. [Dan Rooney] makes millions from the beer companies that facilitate the orgy of public drunkenness his stadium's parking lot plays host to. Like every NFL owner, he cashes in on license fees from video games that incorporate T.O.'s showboating.

Rooney's main complaint about Sheridan's faux seduction may be that it didn't make him a dime. Wait until the unrated DVD comes out.

The NFL claimed ignorance before the fact, but a Philadelphia Eagles representative undoubtedly knew about the taping, and the taping undoubtedly took place hours before airtime. If the content of the shoot didn't trickle up to the NFL, that's the NFL's fault.
