Summary
The first lyrics in "Selling Advertising," the first track on David Ba zan's Fewer Moving Parts EP, are: "You're so creative / in your reviews / of what other people do." I couldn't tell if it was a sarcastic rebuke of reviewers or if [DAVID BAZAN] is, himself, a record reviewer and someone said that to him. Either way, I somehow feel the need to step up the creativity. The song goes on to point out some weird, esoteric logic that seems to claim that being creative goes against the teachings of Christianity.
